We hope to see as many of you there as possible so be sure to sign up if you haven’t already!
The reason why we are launching U&I travel is because we have so many amazing partnerships with luxury travel brands. Our newest Dubai based hotelier, Jumeirah, operate numerous hotels around the world, and by booking through U&I you can enjoy luxury at a great price, with lots of luxury perks. The Madinat Jumeirah is a mini city in itself, comprising of five luxury resorts in the heart of Dubai, with fabulous views of their flagship hotel, the Burj Al Arab.
Each of the five hotels has its own special charm. The Jumeirah Mina A’Salam is a luxurious boutique style hotel. It offers authentic Arabian experiences on their beach front location with family friendly service. There are nearly 300 rooms and suites to choose from and you get complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark when staying at this resort (worth approximately £50 a day!) along with complimentary access to Sinbad’s Kids Club - perfect for entertaining the kids whilst you enjoy the relaxing ambience of the hotel. Mina A’Salam translates to ‘Harbour of Peace’ and the hotel forms the gateway to Madinat Jumeirah. It is the entry point from which numerous waterways and walkways thread their way to all corners of the Madinat Jumeirah complex.
The Jumeirah Al Naseem is the latest resort to pop up in the Jumeirah Madinat complex, which launched in 2016. This hotel boasts that they invite the outdoors in with their lush gardens edging the sandy beach, which not only provides privacy, but also peacefulness. This is more of a tranquil hotel with modern facilities including over 50 restaurants and bars, and spa services. There are some traditional Arabic touches, but it is predominantly a westernised resort.
The Jumeirah Al Qasr is the jewel in the crown of Madinat Jumeirah, translating to ‘The Palace’. Just by looking at this incredible resort, it is evident that the architectural brilliance lives up to the name. It was designed in the style of a Sheikh’s Summer residence. The spectacular driveway into the hotel offers a majestic arrival experience to welcome guests to the Jumeirah Al Qasr.
All 294 palatial guest rooms and suites are decorated in traditional Arabian style. This hotel is in nearest proximity to the traditional Souk in Madinat Jumeirah, which has nearly 100 specially selected boutiques where you can purchase every-day necessities, spices or even luxury hand crafted goods.
The next Madinat Jumeirah hotel is an absolute gem. The Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is set amongst the tranquil gardens, waterways and exclusive pools. It has nearly 300 rooms within 29 exclusive Summerhouses, only steps away from Dubai’s longest private beach. The exquisitely decorated Summerhouses offer elegant and spacious living areas, with a personalised Butler service. This resort is the perfect hideaway!
Hidden within Madinat Jumeirah’s captivating waterways and architectural marvels is the resort’s most luxurious accommodation – the Jumeirah Malakiya Villas. The word ‘Malakiya’ translates into ‘Royal’ in Arabic, and epitomises the level of luxury one can expect to receive. The seven independent villas are designed for those seeking spacious opulence, seclusion, impeccable service, all the while benefitting from complete discretion.
Connected to the resort through landscaped waterways, you will find complete tranquillity during your stay at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. Coming and going is pleasing in itself, with the houses accessible by scenic waterways and paths that wind their way through lush landscaped gardens. Hmm... yes please!
One of our top tips when staying at the Madinat Jumeirah resort complex is to visit the oriental themed restaurant, Zheng He’s, and try one (or all!) of these delicious looking cocktails served on Friday for their famous brunch. They also have a wide selection of Dim Sum and Seafood. It is a MUST visit for your stay in Dubai, you can trust us on that one!
The Jumeirah partnership was the catalyst for the rebranding of U&I Concierge into U&I Travel, however we’ve always had great partners with the Starwood (recently taken over by Marriott) group and their hotels around the world. If you want to keep it local, and don’t fancy flying, we are also partnered with highly sought-after hotels in the UK, including the Dorchester collection and Corinthia, so stay tuned for the next blog post to decide where to book your next getaway.
